The Transmission

Nobody glows alone. ⚡

Here's a teaching I keep coming back to. Rav Yitzchak Ginsburgh shares a model of four roles that work together to guide a growing soul. He maps them onto Havayah (ה׳), from top to bottom, like a column of light running from the crown to the feet:

  • 1 · REBBE (the top). In my words, the RABBI: the source-spark who shows you the whole map. For me that's Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman of Ohr Chadash.
  • 2 · MASHPIA, the spiritual advisor. The one who sits with your heart and helps it soften and open. For me: Shifra Chana Hendrie, The Gate of Unity.
  • 3 · EDUCATOR. In my words, CHINUCH: the one who draws the light down into a life you can actually live. For me: Rabbi Lawrence Hajioff.
  • 4 · TEACHER, the MOREH (the base). The one who hands you the tools, the texts, the details. For me: Efraim Palvanov, Mayim Achronim.
