The Carousel

The Transmission

Geulah is here. Open your eyes. ⚡

King David asks for one thing in Tehillim 119:18: גַּל עֵינַי, gal einai, "unveil my eyes, that I may behold wonders from Your Torah." He doesn't ask for new wonders. He asks to see the ones already there.

That's the heart of the Lubavitcher Rebbe's message in the early '90s: the time of the Geulah has arrived. What's left is for us to open our eyes and see it. ✨

This Glow Gem comes from phEEnix's drashot. In the drasha, gal (גל) adds up to 33 (gimel 3 + lamed 30), which points to Lag BaOmer, a day for uncovering the hidden light. The Talmud adds that whoever has da'at (real, felt knowing) is as if the Beit HaMikdash were built in their days (Sanhedrin 92a). And the Alter Rebbe teaches in Tanya ch. 51 that the Shechinah fills every world the way the soul fills the body, and shines most where we make room for it.
